Uterus
The uterine wall consists of 3 layer: perimetrium, myometrium, and endometrium; the endometrium, has 2 sublayers, the functional layer and the basal layer.
Examine the 3 pictures of the uterus: menstrual, proliferative, secretive phases. Draw sketches of each slide and label the endometrium and myometrium layers.

Proliferative phase:
Secretive phase:
Discuss how the histology of the uterus changes during progression through the 3 phases of the uterine cycle. Relate differences in anatomy to differences in physiology.
