Both stars orbit in circles, with Star B having a larger radius for its orbit. In all four images, the Earth is far below the stars, so that Star A is traveling directly toward the Earth at time 1. At times 1 and 3, what type of Doppler shift does each star's spectrum have, and which star will show a larger shift in its spectrum when viewed from Earth?
