F, which adjusts the arms to press the brake shoes A and B
against the cylinder rotary. The screw has a pitch of 4mm and
a medium diameter of 12 mm, with coefficient of friction of
0.35. Between the shoes A and B and the cylinder is the
coefficient of friction static is 0.50. Determine:
a) The axial force in the screw, when a torque is applied T =
3Nm.
b) The moment M, which can resist the brake.
