Part 2 a) Uniform motion: 1. Please follow the instructions in section Part 2 (A) above to draw a linear graph of distance vs time using the new set of data in the table below. Plot distance on the y-axis and time on the x-axis. Note: distance needs to be on the y-axis so that the slope of the resulting line will provide meaningful physical information about the motion. We will not be able to get this information if time is plotted on the y-axis instead. This is a graph of constant velocity or uniform motion. The motion of the object in this case is reprosonted by the kinematic equation: x=vt Where x is the distance in meters, v is the velocity in meters/second and t is the time in seconds (assume that all the given distance measurements are displacements in the same direction, therefore wo are measuring velocity and not speod) Linear relationship: Please make a graph using the data in the table below: Copy (Ctrl c) and pasto (Ctr v) your tablo and your graph below this line: 2. From the equation of your graph, please answer the following: i) What is the velocity ( v ) of the object? What are its units? Answer: ii) What is its initial position × ? and what are its units? Answer:
