I did my analysis on "Pepe-iu a Marquesan Legend". Overall it follows the story of a girl named Pepe-iu and her interactions with her family members, husband, and husband's brother. Essentially it is a story that tells us how it was like to live as a "Marquesan"? I think the point of the story is to show how the times were during this period. People were very war ready and eager to fight or even kill at a moments notice. Pepe-iu coming from a seemingly more civilized town goes to another village where she teaches them how to live as better people. (less people dying from pregnancies, eating raw food, and less conflict) That is, until her husbands brother begins to be jealous of the good they're bringing to the village and kicks them out. The story ends with a war between her original village people and her husbands brother. Her husband and son both die within this war, and the son is even cooked and eaten, showcasing how their traditions were before Pepe-iu's appearance. Do you agree with my analysis why or why not? can you write it in 2 paragraphs?
