I am confused by the two highlighted. I thought that the HBr rxn on a primary goes thru Sn2 and there are no shifts, and the H2SO4 rxn with a primary goes thru E2 and there are no shifts. How come these two turn out like this? These are the answers my professor gave me, I just need help understanding why.
