In general IUPAC name we have = Locant + Prefix + Root + Locant + Suffix
Root is the number of carbon atom the chain has.
Suffix has of two types: primary and secondary.
Primary is immediately written after Root.it is ane for alkane, ene for alekene, yne for alkyne
Secondary suffix is for functional group specific like ol for alcohal.
