Methods:
Tube 1: 6 mL starch + 6 mL amylase (full strength)
Tube 2: 6 mL starch + 4 mL amylase (2/3 strength) + 2 mL water
Tube 3: 6 mL starch + 2 mL amylase (1/3 strength) +4 mL water
Tube 4: 6 mL water + 6 mL amylase
Tube 5: 6 mL starch + 6 mL water
The total volume for all reactions is 12 mL.
