Explain your answer to the previous question in terms of solute potential, pressure pot

answer ALL please, thanks.

Calculating Water Potential BIOL R122 Name: Water potential, indicated by the Greek letter psi \( \Psi \) is the sum of the solute potential (the amount of molecules dissolved in the water) and the pressure potential (atmospheric pressure but also internal pressure). Water potential \( = \) Solute potential \( + \) pressure potential, or in symbols, \( \Psi=\Psi_{\mathrm{s}}+\Psi_{\mathrm{p}} \). By convention, deionized water (no solutes) at sea level and room temperature ( 1 atmosphere of pressure) has a water potential of zero \( (\Psi=0) \). The units of water potential are megapascals (MPa). Water will always move from areas with higher water potential to areas with lower water potential through the process of osmosis. Often the water potential is a negative number. When looking at two negative numbers, remember the negative number closer to zero is the larger value. For example if the water potential was \( -0.30 \) on one side of a membrane and \( -0.50 \) on the other the water would move from the \( -0.30 \) side to the \( -0.50 \) side. Use this information along with the lecture materials to complete the following worksheet. If a leaf has a pressure potential of \( -0.2 \mathrm{MPa} \) and a solute potential of \( -0.7 \mathrm{MPa} \), what would be the total water potential? Include your calcuation. If the total water potential is \( -4.7 \mathrm{MPa} \) and the solute potential is \( -6.2 \mathrm{MPa} \) what is the pressure potential? Include your calculation. If the roots of a plant are placed in a glass of deionized water at room temperature at sea level. Select which one of the following will happen assuming the pressure potential is the same. Water will leave the roots Water will enter the roots Not enough information to tell Calculating Water Potential BIOL R122 Explain your answer to the previous question in terms of solute potential, pressure potential, and overall water potential. Match the following water potentials with the most correct location on the tree to allow transpiration to occur. \( \begin{array}{llllll}-97.5 & -0.3 & -0.5 & -9.2 & -1.3 & -0.8\end{array} \)
