That electric current moving in a circle will produce a magnetic moment (as you learned in General physics ) of value iA where A is the area of the orbit. a) Show that the value of the that magnetic moment for an Hydrogen atom, when the electron is moving in an orbit characterized by the quantum number n is ?=n2me?? b) If the electron is moving in the lowest orbit n=1 that quantity is called a Bohr magneton and plays an important role in atomic physics. Calculate the value of the Bohr magneton in Ampere m2.
